Every weekend is a special celebration the whole family can enjoy.
There's a celebration every weekend at Tropical Palms. Sometimes it's for a special holiday like the 4th of July, Labor Day, or Cinco de Mayo; sometimes it's just because it's the weekend like Choc-a-haulic or Pirates Weekend.
Always fun, the weekend may include a best-decorated vacation cottage contest for Christmas in July, an old-fashioned hayride on Western Weekend, or a scary Halloween costume party. Whatever the event, you can count on special activities like a water slide or dunk tank that include the kids; fun filled live, entertainment poolside like gator wrestling or tiger shows; theme related food and drink specials like green beer and corned beef on St. Patrick's Day; and always lots and lots of wild and crazy contests, prizes and giveaways.

Family Fun
Start a family tradition that’s far from the ordinary and close to the magic.
Family fun at Tropical is all about playing and laughing together in the pool. It's burgers and cold drinks for everybody - then getting back in the water and playing some more. It's watching the kids watch a dive-in movie.
Tropical Palms is having the neighbors and their kids come by for potluck BBQ at your vacation cottage picnic table. It's taking a bike ride around our 67-acres of pathways, taking part in a scavenger hunt, and decorating your golf cart for a Theme Weekend parade. It's watching someone wrestle an alligator or watching the kids at a petting zoo. It's a family fun round of miniature golf.
Tropical Palms is about starting a family tradition of taking the grandchildren just down the road to the magic of Disney World and finding the talking water fountains in Epcot; exploring the mysteries of the underwater world and watching the dolphins perform at Sea World. It's watching the kids delight in discovering the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at the Universal Theme Parks. It's driving over to Daytona Beach, going into Orlando for the museums or the shopping, and visiting the outlets, malls and flea markets that surround Tropical Palms in Kissimmee.
Tropical Palms is about getting a taste of old Florida at the Strawberry Festival in Plant City, going to see the Manatees in Blue Spring State Park, and canoeing or kayaking in Wekiwa National Park for a look back at Central Florida when the Indians lived on these lands.
At the end of the day, the fun-filled day, Tropical Palms is all about your family and sharing experiences.

Old Town
Stroll down the street and back in time.
Elvis may have left the building - but occasionally he can be found hanging out in Old Town, on Wednesdays, Friday and Saturday night you can sing along to the oldies at Old Town's FREE rock n' roll concerts.
Saturday night is also the night the country's largest classic car, hot rods, street rods and antiques cruise Main Street - 300 cherry cars that will take you back to the days you were begging Dad for the keys to his wheels. Squeal with delight riding the Windstorm Roller Coaster, hold hands with someone special in the Ferris Wheel, and try the go-carts or Super Shot - if you dare! But don't eat first. For the kiddies, there's a Merry-Go-Round, Tea Cups and Frog Hopper.
Take a stroll down Main Street and do some shopping at any of the dozens of fun stores that feature everything from clothing and accessories to unique gifts and jewelry. When you get tired and need a little something to fuel up on, you'll find a terrific selection of choices from fast food to fine dining.
And it's all just down the street from your RV or Tropical Palms vacation cottage.

Sandcastle Life
Get away from it all to discover it all.
Living at Tropical Palms is more than having a place to stay while you visit local attractions, get away for the weekend, or leave the cold and snow behind for the delights of Florida's balmy weather.
